Exness and FxPro are two brokers that consistently lead the conversation in forex trading circles.

Both operate on a massive global scale, carry highly respected reputations, and give retail accounts direct access to the kind of high-level infrastructure that professionals use.

They do differ in several measurable ways.

In this article , we’re looking strictly at the raw metrics, including currency pairs, leverage, trading platforms and more.

Also remember, this article is for informational purposes only, and it is essential to always conduct thorough research before investing.

Before we get into the fine details, let’s set the scene with some key differences between these two brokers.

Exness has been around since 2008 and has grown into one of the largest retail Forex brokers in the world by trading volume.

FxPro launched a bit earlier in 2006, building a highly reputable global footprint based on deep liquidity pools and ultra-fast order execution.

Currency Pairs

A major structural distinction between the two brokers is the total number of tradeable currency pairs.

Exness offers over 100 currency pairs, compared to the 70 plus pairs offered by FxPro.

This difference may be relevant for strategies that extend past the usual majors and minors into lesser known exotic or emerging market currencies.

Leverage

Exness offers some of the highest leverage available in the retail Forex space. Under specific account conditions and via their international entities, traders can access what they describe as unlimited leverage, completely removing any fixed upper ceiling on your position sizing.

This level is highly uncommon in the industry. FxPro, while utilizing a dynamic leverage structure, still offers an incredibly high maximum leverage reaching up to 1:10,000 on smaller lot sizes through its international branches, depending on your location, trade volume, and chosen asset class.

These high ratios are heavily restricted for retail traders inside heavily regulated regions like the United Kingdom or the European Union.

Account Funding

When it comes to funding a live account, both brokers offer a wide range of global payment methods, including major debit cards and global wire transfers, though availability depends on the regulated entity and a trader’s country.

The main difference is minimum deposit requirements. FxPro avoids strict capital barriers by enforcing no mandatory broker minimum deposit to open a standard account, though keep in mind that topping up your balance via standard payment processors typically requires at least a $10 minimum transaction to successfully fund your wallet.

Exness, by contrast, advertises entry points for its Standard accounts often starting from $10 depending on the payment method and region.

Exness typically requires higher deposits for professional tier accounts such as Raw and Zero, commonly around $200 for the initial deposit, which closely matches the $200 threshold FxPro sets for its own premium, low-markup Raw Plus account.

Both brokers support localized payment systems in select regions only, so always confirm payment options and minimums for the specific entity a trader will be onboarded with.

Spread, Fees & Execution

Exness focuses on a low-spread pricing model that often shows incredibly tight costs once spreads and commissions are combined.

On its Zero account tier, Exness frequently offers 0.0 pip spreads on major currency pairs for much of the trading day, though spreads can widen during low liquidity periods and commissions still apply, starting from as low as $0.05 per side but typically averaging around $3.50 per side for major FX pairs.

That structure is commonly used by high-volume traders.

FxPro matches this highly competitive layout on its dedicated Raw Plus and cTrader account environments.

On these tiers, FxPro provides raw spreads starting at 0.0 pips on major currency pairs, paired with a standard commission rate of $3.50 per side, coming out to exactly $7 round-turn per standard lot.

For major pairs, this structure makes the raw trading overhead practically identical between the two platforms.

Just keep in mind, no broker can guarantee flawless execution. News, liquidity, and a VPS setup will always affect final fills and slippage.

Regulations & Trustworthiness

Exness holds licenses from various authorities, including the FCA in the UK, CySEC in Cyprus, and the FSCA in South Africa.

Retail accounts for international clients are registered through corporate entities located in the Seychelles and the British Virgin Islands.

FxPro shares an almost identical heavy-hitting regulatory footprint, maintaining strict compliance under the FCA in the UK, CySEC in Cyprus, and the FSCA in South Africa, while utilizing branches in the Bahamas, Mauritius, and the Seychelles to serve international markets.

Ultimately, both platforms use this twin track structure: keeping strict local licenses for domestic markets while using offshore branches to serve the broader global trading community.

Trading Platforms

Let’s look at the available platforms, as the two brokers offer distinct software implementations.

FxPro focuses heavily on broad multi-platform versatility, providing full access to MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader, alongside their own custom FxPro Edge web and mobile applications.

They also support direct integrations with TradingView, giving you the freedom to choose your preferred terminal setup.

Exness, by contrast, focuses heavily on its own proprietary software. While they still support MetaTrader, they heavily push their custom web terminal and the Exness Trade mobile app.

Instead of sending you to an external platform, Exness embeds TradingView’s advanced charting engine directly inside their own native apps.

This proprietary setup keeps your account management and high-performance charting completely under one roof.

Customer Support

Let’s look at customer support, as this is an area where both platforms maintain a broad reach. Both Exness and FxPro provide flexible contact options, live chat support, and multi-language assistance, along with public Trustpilot pages detailing their service history.

The key difference here comes down to timing. Exness provides a true 24/7 support framework, offering regional languages including Urdu, Hindi, and various Asian dialects around the clock.

Conversely, FxPro operates on a dedicated 24/5 schedule, delivering high-level support in more than 20 languages throughout the core trading week.

Because available languages can change based on your location and the specific entity you join, checking the support options on each official website ensures you see what is available in your region.

Conclusion

So, how do the brokers compare?

Statistically, Exness lists more currency pairs, offers an unlimited leverage structure under specific capital thresholds, features a true 24/7 support framework, and embeds native TradingView charting engines within its custom apps.

FxPro, by contrast, boasts a slightly longer historical track record, perfectly matches the $7 round-turn raw commission layout on its Raw Plus tier, provides native access to cTrader alongside the classic MetaTrader platforms, and carries an exceptionally strong reputation for execution speeds clocking in under 12 milliseconds.
